even with just 9-10 apoc. it makes a huge difference.
fwiw i have 2~ aps, and 45~ cc.

IF you want sustainable, future-proof gear, get apoc.
if you want cute burst bullshit (like what i have: http://www.diabloprogress.com/hero/protean-1830/Protean/13785129 ), don't get apoc.

it's necessary if you want mobility and farming efficiency
unnecessary if you're lazy and don't care about efficiency

u need much more dmg. Atleast +70 k dps. Its main thing to run Archon as it meant to be.

Is that with buff or ? I do 72k dmg with buff.

Can't see what stuff I need to buy.

I would love someone to tell me what I should look for since Im on a blind spot right now :/

apoc is not a must , but it will definetly help u spamming more twisters to compensate the proc loss. Don't have apoc? As someone already mentioned , u can buy a crap item with apoc (source for example) spam until archon is ready and then swap to your dps source , a bit annyoing but it does the job as well for anyone who is on a low budget right now.

"necessary" is not really right.
its cool to have, but my archon is the most time longer then 2 minutes active, so there is no need for apoc.
