with lacunis I lose res/hp and crit.. unless I spend 200m

is the ms/as worth losing res/hp/crit?

Currently doing speed MP3 core runs but want to be able to farm MP5+.
I have the same belt with +vit and +AR, but keep this one on MP3 for the MF.

What would you upgrade with a 20-30m budget and what would you upgrade with a 100m budget?

I can solo MP7 pretty easily and my team can do MP7 ubers + stacks in under 25 mins. This barb was made on a tight budget (literally snipe all of my items lol).

I'd appreciate peoples advice on what to upgrade. I've tried skorns but the survivability was affected too much for my taste. I'm satisfied with my DPS but I'm thinking about buying ice climbers and a double str + vit ik belt to boost my life by 5k+.

Any opinions?

I'm very new to D3. Id appreciate any advice on gear, where to read strats, where to farm, what to farm or what items are even worth anything. I just been using search similar items to sell on the AH ect. Gold is not flowing!

Probably because her dps iis too low. Lifesteal isnt really that effective when ur unbuffed dps is below 100k. With dps like that, I assume that shes either lacking crit% or crit dmg. If yu try and add some more of those stats even if u sacrifice some armor, she shud b fine.



You definitely need another offhand. Maces are way too slow to be used as offhand. As a minimum, you want around 1.4 aps on the offhand (i.e. sword) but preferably a dagger.



I would definitely recommend adding lacunis with str/allres/crit. However, if that is not an affordable option, you could even just do vit/all res/crit or str/vit/crit. Last resort is to drop crit to pick up the movement speed and then make upf or the crit somehwere else (i.e.your jewlry). 24 ms is very helpful because you consistently get the extra tornado spawn when u sprint.



If u want to change to ww/nado spec, most important stat to you is crit % followed by attack speed followed by crit dmg so upgrade your slots accordingly. I would start by getting an IK helm for cheap and an IK boots because movement speed is a most for ww/nado spec and these two pieces can be purchased for relatively cheap and IK helms uatomatically come with crit%. FOllowing which, you need to upgrade your jewelry to get some crit% + asi or crit dmg. ANd also try to add an avg dmg stat wherever possible to boost your dps.



FOr your budget, i would look to getting a couple pieces of the IK set for cheap. Low tier ones can be bought for very cheap, espeically gloves/boots/helm/belt. Later on onc eyou save up, you get pick up the chest for 5 pc set bonus. However, you should also be on the lookout for an OH that is either dagger/sword with open socket, str (vit is bonus), llifesteal/LOH and crit dmg. I would also look at getting some cheap temp rings with avg dmg and crit% on them. Crit % is crucial stat.

It is worth it simply because of the mobility you get overall which greatly enhances your farm speed. Once u try 24% ms, you will never go back. I didnt



To do MP5 efficiently, gotta up your dps without losing too much on EHP. You are currently getting most of your dps from andariels but with your very low resist/life, andariels is not the way to go. You need to look at switching to and IK 2 piece to get that huge all res bonus. if you want to keep your andariels, i would recommend getting this by doing the belt+boots combo which can be done on a 30m budget. With 100m, i would definitely look at upgrading the chest piece to IK or invest in a new offhand. Your offhand is too slow. Uwant to get a sword/dagger type wepor equivalent APS with socket + str + vit in your case+crit dmg+lifesteal. If thats too expensive, you could even just get a huge stats one with just str/vit and still be okay as long as its faster APS.





WEll you are currently running with no MS which is very inefficient for farming so with that budget, I would invest in some MS boots. and your andariels has extremely high fire dmg taken so would definitely look at either swapping that out for one with less fire dmg + socket so u can use life gem OR just converting to IK set all together. with a 200m budget, u can get the boots + armor + helm easily with decent stats due to falling prices. This will also help a lot with fury problems which judging from your gear, i think u mite be experiencing.



Ice climbers are def a great buy but honestly, i think your priority is to upgrade ur offhand. It is way too slow as a nado OH. Your nado ticks speed must be extremely low. It has the right stats but the wrong weapo ntype. Look at switching to sword/nado and sacrifice some crit dmg if u have to but ull notice it to be more effective in game through ur inreased nado ticks and ww speed.




No offense but get some manners dude. AS you can see the thread is extremely busy and I am trying to get to ppl as soon as i can. I am one person helping many and I don't just sit here all day and read this forum. Be patient and i get to u, no need to be a prick about it. My next ugprade for u would be to get innas pants with str/vit combo. You dont need the all res and ur paying too much for it. Ur pants have like no stats. The cost of this upgrade would be in the neighborhood of 200-250m depending on what tier u want. Definitely dont go down the ASI keep it at 9% and look for str/vit combos of 140 stats or more.




I would take a read through this thread on the advice i gave.You will find it pretty helpful. Would also recommending readin through some of the bnet forums for barbs to get starter guides and stuff. In terms of where to farm, you can pretty much farm anywhere now given drop rates do no vary across the acts. Act 1 is obviously the easiest. I would avoid a2 as a starting barb and farm a1 for a while before moving to a3 once u get some gear upgrades. try the low MP levels on inferno as they are basically as easy as hell mode was before.
