D2jsp inflates every time someone spends more money on it. In fact, since it's an unregulated currency that isn't backed up by gold, silver, or a country's word it's far less stable than them. Njaguar could shut his site down tomorrow and you couldn't do anything about it, but that's not likely to occur with a real currency

Right now most economy's aren't even backed by silver or gold , but by what i can only describe as "virtual" silver and gold.
Only 10% or maybe even less of what is on the market is actual physical silver anyways.
Hence economy's are going to fall within 10 years from now :)
Silver price should be around 180-200$/t ounce atm , but the banks just keeps handing out more "virtual" silver (you could call them silver stocks), just like the US is PRINTING more "dollars" to use in their shortage , it's actually quite funny :).

there is somthing called donate forum check it out. having a currency that does not increse or decrease within games is great, very functional and a bit more stable only thing that can affect is amount of active players, amount of traders at the moment, flow of items/finds

anyway ill just do my last statement cuz its 11am here and still havnt slept cuz of mlg finals

``only thing that will do is encourage a shit load more of botting. blizzard doeent even know how to handle it currently with their low caliber progammers. cant wait to see the shit hole d3 turns to within 3 months after release. <-- that

And you have to donate money and HOPE njaguar decides to allow you to join the forums. Those forums only allow you to trade with other people.

Also, you will be able to transfer the money you make in D3 into real money that you can use on ANYTHING.

Stable currency that can be used on anything vs unstable currency that can be shut down on the whim of one person and can only be spent on a VERY limited amount of services.... I wonder which is better?

So you think the world economy will fall within 10 years from now just because people will wake up and say "oh my god, this isn't money... THIS IS PAPER!!!"

What ivy league school do you teach economics at?

I agree, what everybody fails to realise is that most of the people are already paying $$ for items anyway. People pay $$ for fg and they also pay $$ for in game items. What Blizzard is doing is making it more efficient and safe for everybody by creating their own system. This way we won't see any spam bots for item websites and the amount of people being scammed will be reduced alot.

I like the system in my opinion.

a thanks ...my english isnt good enought to write all facts down !

i think the people dont like the fact that FG will be worthless soon ( d2 is one of the major game's on this forum)... maybe paul will give/sent you the money back :D :wallbash:
im so happy i never waste real cash for items and fg :D

If you're being sarcastic then ha ha, but if you seriously think that the US currency is less stable than D2JSP then I'm not sure what to say other than fluctuations in value over a few years are not an accurate indicator of the stability of a currency. If d2jsp was backed by a country and had existed for a few decades you could make the argument, but a few years and backed by one guy isn't exactly stable by any rational person's standards

The fact is, they only did an irl money system because there is demand for it. If there was no demand it would not be implemented. The very fact that this website exists is proof that there is demand on irl vs digital items and trading.

I like the system in my opinion.

i do agree about shops/bots/jsp issue. But u cant deny the fact blizzard gives an option for progression in the game without actually playing it

There's no data showing how much the value of d2jsp has fluctuated in that time, so your argument is moot
