They aren't.
The only loss is not being able to kill magic immune undead anymore, which is basically just unravelers.
And double throws displayed damage is glitched, your throw barb likely does about 4k damage in reality.
It displays the damage wrong by multiplying the displayed (not actual) damage by your throw mastery %.
So if you really have 1000 damage (after mastery), and +250% throw mastery, you'll display 3500 damage
to find your real damage, divide by ((throw mastery % + 100) / 100)
