Okay, this is a phenomenal thread and I need to ask something I haven't seen any mention of yet: Critical chance + Critical mass. Is that dead now?

I'm still fresh with inferno but I run a setup with 41% crit (3% from merc / 5% from e-armor) using a slow 2H weapon and simply spam disintegrate/arcane hydra + nova (deep freeze)/diamond skin/teleport (fracture). I have 20k dps exactly and with my crit bonus/ crit chance I am able to kill enemies extremely quickly while the critical mass seems to give me the few extra secs needed to get my cds back up for a 2nd freeze/fracture/skin.

I am well aware of the increased difficulty in a2/3/4 as well as the "uselessness" of Dskin so I wonder if critical hit % coupled with critical mass is something which goes extinct towards end of act1? If there are Any successful users post 1.02 of crit builds, pls mention what you did right! Thank you. :hail:

Well damn. I feel dumb dropping so much on all res vit int gear. What's the thought process on low HP though? The old benefit was absorbing more with diamond skin but if you're taking teleport instead, wouldn't you be just as well served with more HP? Also when you gonna post your wizard? I think a lot of us in this thread are waiting to see your gear

there are many ways of playing, just cause u dont like the build does not mean it doesnt work.

Let's say you have a weapon with 1.4 Attack speed. To reach 2.0 attack speed, you need just over 40% more IAS. So if your rings are 15% each and your glove is 10%, you will do 2.0 attacks per second.

Pretty bored of the cookie cutter wiz build. Been fucking around with lightning hydra, living lightning and the lighting stun passive + other random abilities. Makes the game interesting

ya i dont really care about boss kills etc..need to keep changing things to keep the game interesting for myself. I had enough of the cookie cutter mindset playing arena in wow. i only care about changing stuff up to stay interested and making money (mainly off farming champ/elites). To each their own
