I tried swapping my 721 LOH for a different off-hand that has 2.2% life steal and it felt like i wasn't getting any life in return. i'm only at 51K dps though. I really need to get a better hellfire, would give me a huge DPS increase.

Thanks for the feedback, ya'll. New Inna's helm was a no brainer, got one with +1k life, +1k dps, +30@ res and 300 armor upgrade for 500k b/o, lol...I can't believe I spent 17m on that p.o.s. back in the day >.> haha

Still looking at other slots. The reason I keep saying VW is a small upgrade is because, I have 123 @ res on my shoulders right now. The 8% life is worth about 50 vit, so that's about 130 vit. So my current shoulders are basically 90 dex/130 vit/130 res all/300 armor and cost me something liek 4m. So I'd have to get at least 130 vit on the VW to *break even*. Yeah, I'll see 300 more armor, but I'm losing 40 res all with a *perfect* res roll on the VW, which means my mitigation goes DOWN slightly, and that's for a *starting* price of 50 mil. Not looking like a sweet deal to me...so what am I missing? Life regen? Come on. I gain dex, but at this point I'm looking more at ehp than dex, at least for a shoulder slot. So you tell me, how is it such a big upgrade?

I've got a chest with 70 dex, 150 vit, 3 os and about 90 res all. I took it off because a.) I got that Tyraels super cheap (and it was a direct upgrade) and b.) I was planning on getting Ice Climbers, so with the Tyraels I don't have to get MS boots which means they wont' cost 200m. But if I get Nats, I can lose the chest. So, I am still throwing around ideas. For now, I'm gonna get some 30m ice climbers and maybe shop around for some better jewelry. I'll have to take the nat's plunge at a later time I think. I found a ring similar to yours for 50m, and boots for about the same. But then, I'm losing about 6k health for a maybe 7k dps gain if I'm lucky...idk. I just think, if I can't afford really GG nats stuff, I might as well just not get middle of the road ones. Problem is I have decent gear that I'm replacing so the upgrades are expensive. I got a new belt for cheap with 165 vit on it, so that helps too. I think I'll pour gold into offensive slots like gloves and jewelry and weaps to upgrade my DPS, until I hit that next brick wall where you need GG items for each slot to get a good upgrade.

id double check on this but i belive you can get vile wards that are like 180 dex 70 vita 50 main res, 70+ all res.

so all your really loosing is like 2 k life while you gain 300 armor, regen and 100 more dex.

With my regular set up, my life is around 50k now. lol

Did mp8 uber with Ltmbear yesterday. I feel like monks can benefit a lot from high hp. It felt much safer with almost 7k life added from the chest upgrade.

You are on the right track.

I wouldn't use Transcendance as a third passive. Use one of these: Guardian Path / Resolve / Beacon of Ytar / Combination Strike.

saw the discussion about min dmg, max dmg and avarage dmg. Maybe i missed it but didnt see any1 test it. did some quick test and here is the result:

w/o amu = 1237 - 1676
w 35 min dmg amu = 1275 - 1676
w 23-57 dmg amu = 1262 - 1737
w 33 max dmg = 1237 - 1712

tested with blue amus with no other stats that can affect test.
