It's weird that it took so long for this method to leak. People have been selling bad UNID items for awhile with this. I've found an even easier method myself than this...

Yeah, you've been able to break HURLs like this since the release of the game. (Probably beta too, but who cares, right?)

Well guys, i have spent 30min trying to find a website that tells me if this still works, im on EU servers and im swedish (if that makes any diffrence) and i cant do it. I click the item name [revenent bow] then i add the two letters, in this case "a" so its like this [revenent bow]aa [revenent bow]. Then i go to the middle of the "a" letters and typ delete three times, and all it dose is that it takes away the second "a" and the space between and the [revenent bow] in the end and thats it...... even tho i delete the space between the last "a" and the last [revenent bow] i still get the same thing....nothing.... is this fixed? is this a troll thing? help me out here guys.... You need to use "special" / "weird" characters. ㅇ á Ä é Ë, etc. You can also just do ㅇ[Item]ㅇ instead of [Item]ㅇㅇ[Item].

this definitely 100% works, but i have a question (perhaps obvious to some) regarding locating the unid affixes in the pastebin master list..

so here is my item:

how am i to find these affixes in the list? i can see its a 5 prop item, but all the affixes i search are apparently "unknown"

You're doing it in-game rather than from the auction house's Sell screen. If you link from the AH, the item's affixes are known.
