If I drop GC, I can be around 800-900 res all and 45k dps. I'll try that when I get back to clearing A3. Currently though I've been in farm mode and not really wanting to sacrifice dps. Also, one more question. Often when I'm playing I'm playing in a 4 person static group. My understanding was that in inferno due to scaling mobs not only have more life but also significantly hit harder in 4 player games. Given that, I'm not really sure what to take in terms of force/prismatic.
To my knowledge, exact scaling has yet to be discovered. I've seen people posting something like this, though:
Quote
Normal - 75% Health; 0% Damage
Nightmare - 85% Health; 5% Damage
Hell - 95% Health; 10% Damage
Inferno - 110% Health; 15% Damage
per player
15% in Inferno seems a bit low, bit it would make sense, I suppose. They can't increase it too much, as that would destroy any chance at tanking any damage.

out of your explanation on page one im not sure i understand the new force armor correctly, if the mobs hit me with twice my max life ill die in one hit ?
The exact workings of the new Force Armor are a bit sketchy, but the following is what most people would say makes the most sense:
-An attack dealing less than 35% of your max life will not trigger Force Armor.
-An attack dealing between 35% and 135% of your max life will, indeed, trigger Force Armor and convert the damage to 35% of your life.
-An attack dealing between 135% and 200% of your max life will be reduced by 100% of your max life--meaning that, for example, an attack dealing 170% of your max life will be reduced to 70% of your life instead.
-An attack dealing 200% or more of your max life will bypass Force Armor and crush your skull.
