But it's of course all about the situation and what you can afford, actually all thanks for my gear go to the Skorn i used to use on 1.05 release, we sold infernal machine events on mp7-9 for 14+ million per slot and the slots were taken instantly, i guess we made quite a much gold with my friend by doing this during the first few days after the patch released. It was boring as hell, but 100% certain income from a simple job

They're not selling for much anymore, I think atleast on europe it's like ~2 million per slot on mp8 or so, haven't checked for a while now, so stuck to leveling now, 5 more levels and it's over, just managed to get 95 paragon 5 minutes ago ^^

cant argue with the speed when killing weak mobs, you get the killing done much faster and can move to next mob.  and the feeling. high aps feels so much better.

but i still dont know if there is any difference when you kill for example azmodan or any other boss where you can just press and hold left mouse untill he dies on a decent high mp.

you can do this in low mp lvl game too. if you manage to make the dps like 50k for both set up and try it on azmo or something.

yes, will most likely do some tries tomorrow. Get 2 decent weps for a couple of M and use a dps calculator and get a matching skorn/2h.

the reason im writing so much about this is not that i think skorn is better in any way.
The reason is that im about to uppgrade my weapon and i have noticed that if you want the same dps with dual-wield you will have to pay  like 2-3x times the price for EACH 1-hander compared to a decent skorn.
I would realy love if dw gives some extra "hidden" dps due to higher aps and therefore i can throw away my skorn and start dualwield again. But if i can get 20k more  dps for the same price if choose skorn over the 1-handers and the 1-handers dont have any hidden dps advantages it feels hard to justifi it.
