Aaah okay, just tested quickly before left to work, that circular breathing might do it, was pretty fun anyway as the spirit went down so damn slowly.. Also that rune for sweeping wind would be good, then it shouldnt be a problem, had some 141k dps with those crappies i bought, pretty decent killing speed with only Tempest ^^

Hahah, now now with the Inner Storm rune for 3 more spirit regen made it work, can use TR infinitely I have 141k dps with that 2 hander and 27% Stone of Jordan, elites go pretty fast down just by using TR, I think i will try to look for good Inna's Reach daibo when i get back home to get that 4 set bonus A bit sucky to play with this laptop i have here at work, just installed D3 here 1 week ago

wow it's an ilevel of 60. how much of a dps increase did that give you over your old ammy? I know it added raw damage.

Gave me like 13k dmg and 3k life. Haha.

I have switched lately to a skorn setup which raised my DPS by significant amount (118k unbuffed DPS with SOJ, 135k DPS with hellfire ring). I also purchased a SW SOJ and a SW inna's radiance (+23% SW damage) which really boost offsheet damage and feals damn great while melting elite packs.I have focused on IAS gear because of the slow Skorn and and love the overall feeling of massive burst DPS of the Skorn with SW and Life Steal.I always thought the Skorn build was temporary since monks are meant to be quick hitter dual wielder (at least in my mind) and I am about to switch back to Dual wield.

I am concerned about those 2 things :

1 - Is switching from a 1117-1510 (1314dps) damage Skorn to a 610-953 (1118dps) damage Echoing Fury main hand worth it considering my DPS will drop to 95k unbuffed with SOJ (also will be loosing around 2.5LS since I'll get LS only on my OH)?

2 - Does the sweeping wind damage benefit from my higher DPS Skorn right now (and will result in less offsheet damage after I switch to dual wield)?

I am about to dump around 150m on this switch and I am afraid I might regret it...

Any thoughts?

2x 1 Handers are always better than any Skorn has ever been. Even if the damage goes down, killing speed gets faster, as there will be a huge amount of tornadoes floating around with fast weapons.

I had to use Skorn for a while when 1.05 came out and finally when i got 2x mediocre 1 hand weapons, dps went a bit down, but will never ever go using 2 handed weapon on Monk again. Only setup where it works, is Tempest Rush with enough spirit regeneration and even then you can find 2 million gold weapons that are equal to Skorn, just like i did yesterday

Just browsed AH a bit and well, found 20+ weapons that are equal to 1300 dps skorns and all of them have 5.5%+ life steal, 170+ critical and socket, but the price is from 200k-20 million, Skorns are ? 150 million + ?
