They wouldn't make it something already extensively used, they are trying to make unused skills more appealing.

I don't care what they do. Make it godly like other classes. It's a class specific set.

Getting base effects of all Mantra is nothing godly at all.

It's hard to obtain all.

Once it's obtained, it should be godly enough to make us effective in T6.

I only need the ring to receive the mantra bonus. What's i called again? To Get the last set bonus.
I got head, arm and pants. Using only arm atm

I went super tanky with shield yesterday.
23M toughness
35k healing with up to 48k lps
1200 all res
750k life ( feels weird when you have more life than dmg)
cant remember armour / block chance
Only about 630k sheet dmg

Played around little bit in T5 ... survivability is pretty good.
I'll mix & match gears and see if I can bring up dmg and less vita.
For sure awesome in party play with 4pc set of BT / Innas

Also, another annoying fact about how our set bonuses need to be boosted. With the ring of royal grandeur, Other classes can literally wear inna's set and get the mantra bonuses!

Nice. Let us know how the edps is on the shield set up. I would love to test it out but don't have a decent shield.

It shouldn't be that bad since the monk builds really focus on primary generators now. The spenders use the mainhand weapon dmg anway.

Isn't there a shield that has like fire dmg +% or something?

Sorry if this has already been addressed but 46 pages is a lot to read through... I'm making a pull monk for group play, I ideally want to be able to survive anything while keeping enemies locked down and buffing party damage. I already have a good idea of what skills I want (dashing strike, exploding palm, cyclone strike, etc.) but what about gearing? This is for SC, how much vit should I ideally aim for? Should I be focusing on life per second or is life on hit good for monks? Should I use a shield or is it better to stick with dual wielding for the faster attack speed? Should I just ignore offensive stats completely or is it good to stack some crit chance, crit damage, and elemental damage? Thanks for any input.
