Used to hate playing Cyclone Strike. Thunderclap meant low spirit and Quickening meant no teleport. I just had a lightbulb moment and thought - What about Quickening + Dashing strike/Quicksilver? Now i'm in love. I'm never changing spec.
http://eu.battle.net/d3/en/calculator/monk#aSfkdU!Xgf!YccabZRunning fast/fast weapons, Quickening means cyclone every second and i'm AoE'ing like a champ. Guiding light has 100% uptime on every party member, which can be tricky using BoH. Dashing has greater range than Thunderclap, i can move across a whole map quick as barbarian and it's great single target damage as well. The root is ultra useful for keeping elites in 1 place and Dashing does quite the decent damage too.
Change Cyclone Strike for Wave of Light for epic carnage, just dash once if they're knocked back. ^___^

http://eu.battle.net/d3/en/calculator/monk#aSfdk!X!Yc.baI really recommend the Quickening monk playing
Overawe instead of Transgression because he will have so much spirit that he can keep a 80-95% uptime on the 48% damage part (while still spamming Cyclone Strike like a mad man). I also want to mention that this is purely a support spec for 3-4 parties. Change Cyclone Strike to Wave of Light for dealing damage with 1-2 players in the game.
After playing all night with dashing strike i'm never playing without it again (this spec or others). Super bad affix/mob combo? Tight spot? Arcane, jailer, desecrate, freeze? Nah meng, got dash. This is immortal spec.
