G = General
Everyone.
PG = Parental Guidance
Parental Guidance for people under 15 years old.
M = Mature
Reccomended for 15 years and older.
MA = Mature Audience
Restricted to 15 years and older.
R = Restricted
Restricted 18+.

Wtf???
Let me enlighten you.
G = 0+
PG = 15+ or Parent Guardian
M = 15+
MA = 15+
R = 18+

15 = teenager
If M, then you can play cause 15 is a teenager.
And Diablo 2 is MA not M, idiots.

The mjaority of people here on this forum use the american rating system.
Here in America, our rating system starts at
Ec-early childhood
E-everyone
E10-everyone 10+
T-Teen
M-Mature 17+
AO-Adults only 18+ (although very few games are rated this and most stores won't sell AO rated games.)

nobody plays anything rated E or E10+ or Ec, and there's almost zero AO games, so the only ones that matter are T and M.

Our ratings are more spaced out than yours. From the sounds of it, you have 4 ratings between the 15-18 age range.
AO is like the nc-17 for movies. It's not really used and when it is, it's only to try and censor certain aspects of a movie/game.
