Just curious, what are the thoughts on monks and sojs? The 30% extra damage to elites is nice and all, and the possibility of sweeping wind or fot damage increase as well.

But is it (as a monk) worth it for all the extra stats we can lose? Especially since with a decent amount of crit, critical hit damage can perform almost as well (I assume) as the 30% to elite damage.

The balance to maintain a decent dps and survivability is annoying, and replacing a ring would make it all the more tedious to me.

Also leaning towards replacing my mempo with an inna, since it seems I've gotten a decent % to aps, and could use more cc. My gloves and shoulders I've had for a very long time now, and upgrading them soon.

But my wrists are being kinda hard to replace in my eyes. The healing globe bonus helps me far more than I thought, and having a hard time parting with them.

Suggestions on gear appreciated too, thanks.

I actually picked up a 5%/26%/9% to deadly reach SOJ for 2million yesterday.

It was cheap enough for me to experiment it. All I can say is it is AWESOME for ubers and elites in general.

I do just keep it in the inventory and just quickly swap it out when facing extra health elites or uber fights. My buffed dmg can go up to 160-170k depending on my skill sets. So, 31% extra dmg is just insane. That's just HUGE.

I want to tell you guys though... DO NOT BUY THE PERFECT SOJs FOR LIKE 50-100MILLION GOLD.

NOT WORTH IT.

Just pick up a decent one for cheap!

Hmm, good point, I guess since elites and bosses have so much hp now it's not really a big deal to swap out. Especially at the higher weapon damages/dps to make it more worthwhile.

Yeah. haha it takes quite awhile to kill the ubers in +mp7 games even if you have like 200k dps.

And yes, if you have high dmg output, it's much more beneficial.

i'm broke how are you guys farming?

High MP's for mf? low mp's for speed? or mid for an average?

I clocked my runs last night... 35 minutes for alkaizer mp4 runs, but no legendaries over 3 runs at 294 base mf! wtf!

ahha have a ridiculous SOJ which i bought for 150mil :/ It's really worth the investment, you'll notice the change to elite damage right away. As many people argue, what ring is going to add 30% to your dps? Mine actually adds more, but i think Jinshin85 is probably the most gold-efficient monk here; his advice to swap a cheap on in and out is a really good idea

Man....the innas helm is so cheap now. I found a significantly better one for 7 mil.

Boosted my dmg by 2k and gave me more res as well as +200 lps.

These helms were used to be +30mil... lol

Will be at 204k dps with the amulet and +2.5k life too.

Replaced old random natalya's ring also, just couldn't wait longer and again took "temporary" ring.

Thinking about changing to Inna's chest with 75+ allres and replace Inna's hat with 4.5%+ critical chance mempo. Losing IAS from the amulet if i have won it today..

Next thing is to work out that rare ring that i've been stuck with for 3 months now. Found some similiar with better dps stats, but insanely expensive -,-

Tested 1223 dps echoing fury with 159% critical, would boost dps by 40k xD But can't afford to go under 5% life steal, even 5.8% is not enough vs big pack of reflects on mp5+

edit. And it's pretty nice to be able to play without using OwE, but actually it's not quite a big deal, as the monk passives are so damn useless. Been just testing each of them, chant of resonance was good with skorn, now it's not needed, been using combination strike instead

Natalya's ring was yesterday on ah for 600m if i don't remember wrong. Weapons were 500 mil and hmmh, can't remember the other one, had it laying in my stash for a bit longer already, just waiting for other similiar ^^

Hellfire would be good, crafted some already with crap to medium stats, i'm so stuck with that resistance from ring, the best i've crafted so far does +8k dps compared to current rare, but will lose ~80 all resistance and that was already a significant, had to be much more carefull with that already, so gonna really need some 60+ resistance from that ring.

Just accidentally noticed yesterday that those weapons are crafted ones, explains why there are quite many of those on AH currently, which i wondered for a while already, also plenty of similiar Galraki's for sale.
