Cleared half of act3 on MP9, not really problems at all, just the killing speed is so hmmph.. Could fall asleep while killing some elite pack. Propably going to keep playing with monster power ~3 or so, at paragon 80 the mf% is already so big, that the killing speed >> bonuses and i'm really not interested in the leveling up fast part.
This.
HP scaling has been widely considered broken since the DAY PTR opened up. Floods of posts about inefficiency apparently went ignored. I mean, I understand if they wanted to make an endgame that was a bit out of reach, but as it stands, the higher MP levels aren't HARDER, they just take longer. Some estimates show an 8000% increase in health of monsters, with a paltry ~50% increase in buffs as a reward. It's terrible. That's why we should all be grateful that incoming damage has been nerfed, drops have been buffed, and the game is easier than ever at lower MP levels and still equally as easy at mid MP levels.
Re: the "discussion" earlier between ylem and jin, both of whom are respectable members of the monk community...Yes, monks have been "nerfed" a bit. Not much really, and DEFINITELY not enough to say we ought to reroll barb which is just absurd. The fact is, we got nerfed, but *the monsters got nerfed HARDER*. People are looking at MP6+ and saying "UHHHGGGG NOW WE HAVE TO USE ALL 3 DEFENSIVE PASSIVES" ... listen folks, you are playing at a much higher level now than you were last week, and that's by CHOICE (MP level). Go back to MP0, or MP1, and you will see how much FREEDOM we've actually been granted by the patch. NOT TO MENTION insanely buffed jewelry, higher ilvls all around, MORE legendary drops...and people still want to complain. Yikes.
And to add to all that, we have the choice to SCALE MP level to our own preference.
