Yea I rolled the elite dmg off Archfiends. Before finding the marauder set I was just using Chakrams.


I thought my helm was awesome. I was so happy when I found it, like a week ago. I was looking for physical Andy's and bam got exactly that. Guess it's trash then?

How much toughness do I need? I have 3.9 mil in town with the Pig companion. Maybe like 6-7 mil to not get one-hit in T5-T6?

Sentry Chakram firing in the Live version will not scale with your attack speed, and this has been fixed in the 2.1 PTR. So using it right now is not really worth it. The ones that are not bugged are Multishot and CA. Those will give you more bang for your buck.

For Archfiends, really the point of crafting them is to get the extra elite damage, as it differentiates them from any other quiver. Get +% Sentry on them and they'll still be fine though.

My main DH gets 10-11 million toughness, but that's with Awareness and Perfectionist. In my opinion, you need that so you can use your mobility to your advantage. The build is about setting up zones with Sentries while you aggro mobs with Multishot / move around with Vault / pick up Health Globes to sustain your resources.

Here's the build I'm working on. Just need the shield, an amulet, and Ramalandi's Gift to socket my sword:

sword has such low base damage, and you miss out on getting the sentry and attack speed mods on your shield.
attack speed is needed to hit the breakpoints for sentry, especially if you are choosing not to use tnt.

i like the thought you're putting into it, but not using tnt with a phys build is a mistake.

i would try tnt and no andys helm if anything, but I still feel like the loss of damage on the weapon kills it.
especially when dex will give us armor, we'll be getting the much needed toughness boost.
surviving right now isn't too too hard, but going to a shield is overkill imo.

good luck getting the necessary lidless to try it.

Yeah, Lidless is the only way and I've only ever had one drop. Shields are only 5 shards to gamble so ya never know.

The sword unfortunately rolled like 1990 damage to start, so I was forced to reroll the damage. If the damage was high at the start like +1400 then I could have rerolled the Life on Hit to 10% damage, but oh well.

I wish I could put TnT gloves on there. I love Andys helm tho, but maybe have to make the sacrifice.

If you want to try another Sword/Shield, Grimsever is a lovely one.
Currently mostly used with FoK & Physical build, unfortunately the 2.1 patch will change the runes, will probably go the impale route.
Mark mobs, kill stuff, AoE Sever explosion kills the rest. :3

there is also a quiver that makes chakram a generater too
