- here my thoughts, archon wizards will become more popular and this thread will be bumped twice as much

- stormchaser didnt get nerfed so perma archon and mob melting goes into the next round

- barbs , who the fuck cares about barbs , as long as my gear doesn't get worthless i am happy ^^

I think that grabbing a life steal weapon asap is probably a good idea. Life steal will probably be basically required in higher difficulties and it'll probably be even more expensive to get a good weapon with life steal than it is now.

Hmm, what u suggest for new build? :) I know Archon will still work as OP as it is.
Just thinking some as good as archon builds. Atm using Archon-Teleport. Next patch -> Archon-Slow time?
Using Storm chaser for Arcane proc.

Some important changes for a build similar to the one described in the original post.

1) Spectral blade damage increased from 135% to 165%.
A significant buff to dps for spectral blade users like me. It's my main source of damage out of archon.

Range increased from 10 yards to 15 yards
And there's a 50% increase in range. gfg skill.

2)Healing blade - remove critical hit requirement.
Most people would have less than 50% crit on their wiz, so jay wilson has gone and taken everyone's healing power and doubled it! (and then some).
the 8% heal with inferno reduction = 1.6%, with 100k dps and 165% damage from spectral blade you'll get 2.64k hp a second. That's against single target! more if you hit multiple monsters
I've got over 200k damage, and will heal over 5k hp on single target. insane. (i already use healing blades to face tank act 3 nowadays but this will mean I can fully remove all defensive skills).

3)Storm armor - Ability has been redesigned to periodically deal 100% weapon damage as Lightning to nearby enemies
Depends how often "periodically" is, this could be madness right here.
the scramble build looking even more attractive now.

I think DPS will become more important than movement speed compared to before. I'm not saying MS is not important but at the moment good chars can basically instantly melt mobs and farming speed depends a lot more on Movement speed. probably 95% moving 5% dpsing at the moment for high dps chars.
In the new patch IF it's beneficial for paragon level exp and MF boost to run max player games then DPS will be more important since you will spend a lot more time on it. 8 player games might turn into 60%/40%.
We'll have to wait and see what would be the best setting to level/farm in 1.0.5

At the moment I'm thinking 6 skills as:
1) Spectral - healing blade
2) Archon - improved archon
3) familiar - sparkflint
4) Magic weapon - force weapon
5) Storm armor - scramble or energy armor - pinpoint depends on how important it is to run max player games.
6) Twister - storm chases (just to proc CM for archon)
