current gloves: 290 armor with no +armor mod with like 70 dex
I bid on these kind of blindly. I was looking to add gloves with a +armor for more armor obviously, but when I looked after I bid... well, the gloves give me -0.2% protection back of the lack of dex.
Did i just basically waste 30m if no one out bids me..... which would suck because I have like no igg.
I guess they would give me more ARMOR, but ultimately less protection overall. Should I just try to resell them once and if I win the bid and stick with my currents because of the dex?
should be easy to calculate. but you have to keep in mind the following: dodging is awesome if it occurs because it takes away the whole damage of that attack; and because it means your channeling is uninterrupted. but if you dont dodge a particular attack, all the dex you have does not provide any protection. so the protection that dex offers might work out statistically, but it is very inconsistent. therefore, i only like dex if the survivability is already high enough without it.
