i went from dh->barb->wd->wiz-> now monk

but i feel so weak, there is a 10-20% budget improvement everytime i sell, cuz i ah master
my wd was gfg, my cm wiz was gfg, mp10 no prob

with my monk i can do do mp10 but it isnt as smooth nor as fast

Your dps is crazy low for that type of gear. Id be crafting Neck, Bracers, and new Gloves like there is no tomorrow. Everything looks pretty solid but you are missing Dex in a lot of spots where you can get 200-300 Dex.
2k Dex is most definitely not ideal for mp 10. You're also losing a lot of Armor, and Dodge from your Dex since you're sticking to STI.

You have some great selection of gears and some fcked up selection as well.

PM me your profile and budget to fix it. It has great potential to become a godly monk, but it seems like you are a little lost..

Cheers.

I have been using this build lately: http://us.battle.net/d3/en/calculator/monk#WbXdSk!aXg!acbbca , naturally seize can be switched to guiding light when playing in group. for weps im using ef + rare ll sword

havent tested it on mp10 because my monks pvm gear isnt that great, but i dont see any reason why it wouldnt work there too if you have the gear. i mean combination strike + deadly reach buff is pretty much the same as the dmg you get from wkl, but with this build you dont need wkl, so you can use higher dps rare.

you are using thunderclap and 2 different spirit spenders, thats a pretty damn big no no. if you are going to use a spirit spender you really need to use spirit regen skill with extra spirit on crit or else you regen spirit way too slow for the spirit spenders to be much of any use. so switch thunderclap to quickening and now because you are missing some dashing skill, get dashing strike 'quicksilver', its much easier/faster to move around with than thunderclap anyways.

That looks pretty cool. I'll test it out later today. I actually love the animation of Crippling Wave. I'm a huge fan of it. I'll add the build into the list after couple runs.

This should be super tanky build combo-ed with CW+Resolve.

I think we should come up with 3-4 defensive focused builds just for fun.

EDIT: I love your photo gallery man. You take some nice shots. Is it your job or hobby? My IRL hobby is modifying my car and car photography. :)

wat would be considered big spirit spenders?

sweeping wind takes out a huge chunk, but thats a single cast usually

id like to keep cyclone and conviction, id use cyclone in large mobs and conviction for 1-3 targets/elites

exploding palm ill sometimes switch out with bell

i feel like exploding palm is op if u manage to time it properly on enemies right b4 they die, but that requires too much focus for casual farming

currently im going cyclone->bell spam

im not sure if breath of heaven -> blazing wrath is really worth taking up a skill slot for extra 15%, but not too sure wat other skills are good

Cyclone strike and bell are big spenders.

Monks need to take advantage of dmg boost from spamming overawe in every fight.

Because of that spam, we cant really use both bell and cyclone strike as many as we want.

Thats why most of thr builds focus on one spender with tclap/cyclone as main dealer.

If you really want to use both bell cyclone strike while spamming overawe, you should get a ef and use quickening rune on fot.
