Yes, Inferno ponies are difficult for a kiting sorc. You would have to alter your build for pure damage potential.

Ray of Frost, Arcane Orb, cold blooded, glass cannon, magic weapon, familiar, archon, etc .. . With 60k dps, you should clear it easily.
