Which proves D3 was not the ultimate ARPG. Mate this game has been patched a gazillion times, seen it's game director sacked etc etc etc list is endless.
Even today the game doesn't have decent trade or decent pvp or even a decent skill system. Let's not talk about itemization which is based on free sets and legs raining down from the sky.

The point is Durrr still needs to try and convince people here that game is great.
Ready to prove him wrong every time ^^

I agree, but in early version when trading was in like in d2 and were good items with good rolls were hard to find game was still good.Question is what happend after that, why D3 went on this road that is today, answer is yet to come.

The fall of D3 began with removal of AH(and almost everything they done after that) and trading across games in general, farming bots made alot of mess(mess for Blizz not players) so Blizzard had some big problem even they had been reciving % of every transaction on ah and rmah. Its strange thing to me that they removed ah and rmah even they had been getting profit from it, so it was not about profit this time, it was something deeper then that, did they wanted to make D3 much better than Blizzard North did with D2 that they just wanted too much and was reflected back to them in bad way? Was there a problem with giving players chance to have real life earnings from a game? Doubt it, because there are streamers that earn money from game anyway. This hole talk about bots farming ingame gold and then owners selling on rmah is strange because Blizz made alot of profit from new copys of the game that boters were buying(after Blizz banned theirs accs) and from rmah transaction as i stated alredy, so cant think of a diffrent reason then that they wanted to make game so good that they just done the opposite and people that worked on game were much more WoW oriented and that team didnt got along. I am "thinking out loud" so help me out here.

you expect that the real ultimate ARPG is release and since then zero patch or upgrade for any years to come just because it's already perfect?

They released the game when it was in early Beta. The game is still in Beta after many many patches.

The game is shit.

So many terrible design decisions made with D3. It's a failure.

If you followed D3 development right from the announcement in 2008 then you know they were aiming for quote "the ultimate ARPG".
It wasn't me who made that up, it's blizz' hype department so blame them...

How is it a loss? D3 is still a successful game that I enjoy and isn't going anywhere.

It's a loss when a community mod of a 18 year old game is more fun and engaging than an AAA first-party multi-million dollar developer's game.

Here is not about every single game its about Diablo game and if you compare D1 D2 and early version of D3 to D3 now there are some major diffrences and thats not subjective its a fact every1 can see that, there are so many proofs for this. I agree with you about tastes you like i dont like it etc but here im talking about diffrent thing, about changes that affected game on so many levels that made game diffrent from what it supposed to be.

Another subjective point.

Changes made to a game either benefits some or doesn't benefit others. There are people that enjoy updated patches and updates and those that don't. If an update came out that caused a game to be unplayable to 100% of the population, that is the only time it would be a fact that a game is broken or dead. Again you are not going to change the definition of preference I'm sorry.

I'm not here to convince people the game is "great"

I think it's great and I enjoy it, those of you who have different opinions I actually accept that.

Unlike you guys who actually try to convince me the game is shit, and that just won't happen, sorry. It's you guys that can't accept the fact their are still people who play and enjoy this game. Simply go fill out your protest signs and raid the white house till president Trump passes a law to close down all D3 servers to force this game into a dead game.

At least you guys would shut up, I'd still have my Dark Souls series, so I'd be good.

just because you're unable to understand the complicated mechanics of d3 doesn't mean everyone is "special" like you.
Most players enjoy d3 coz they can understand good builds and so on.
Still you're lucky, there are some other "special" guy like you on this sub, pm devilslayer you could have some good time togheter
