Pvp in D2 was seriously the best, I feel like Dota 2 really stemmed a lot of its ideas from the dueling aspect.
PvP system is lacking. You queue up, and fight some random BR guy in an arena. Nothing is really balanced around PvP, so there are some builds that will, generally, wreck your shit.
Guilds have a separate chat channel (Like in D3) and also have access to a guild-wide stash. Imagine your stash from Diablo 2, but it can be accessed by all members of your guild. (Adding more pages does cost IRL$$ though, since it's a F2P/Microtransaction-model game

Still waiting on someone to post a good alternative, staying within the genre. Also would fucking love for you to elaborate, instead of just saying 'it's shit' and expecting that to be a compelling argument.
