Diablo 3 is too much of a disappointment compared to Diablo 1 or 2 to keep playing.

Hopefully PoE can force Blizzard to reconsider the direction they have taken with their game.

that's true, but having watching even more videos, and seeing Kripparian's youtube channel on it, im convinced this game will be very enjoyable for me personally.

Imagine if Blizzard had made POE. Would it have been considered even remotely acceptable? NO. POE is not in the same league that Blizzard operates in, stop pretending otherwise.

elaborate? Obviously different budgets and I could see why the general crowd would be severely dissapointed with the graphics but that's it. The graphics and the physics are more polished in d3 because they have a different budget. an unmatchable budget.

if blizzard budget / some of blizzards talent on polishing with the mindset and pilosophy it seems that PoE has, i think that game would have been a thousand times better than diablo 3.

auction house was "OK" in theory when announced but it seriously fucked up this game so bad.

Watching videos is a completely different experience than actually playing the game. I thought it was a promising game until I played it. It sucks balls and Kripparian is a fag.

That's true but as I said I will def give it a try for myself cause it seems very very promising.
And I don't know if kripparian likes dudes or not but much of what he says make sense and he seems rather humble and like a selfcritique too. I like him.

The D3 fanboyism is strong in this thread, LOL. Path of Exile is far superior to D3 in every way, shape, or form. There is so much more customization when it comes to building a character; so many different builds to explore and ways to play.

There are different leagues with ladders, weekly competitive races, PVP, exceptional itemization (something that D3 completely lacks), and more. Oh, and I keep seeing people saying the graphics in PoE suck. Have you played the game, or have you just watched a shitty quality video online some where? Because if you're basing your idea of how the game looks from a stream/low quality video, it doesn't do the game justice. Even then, gameplay > graphics. Personally, I completely prefer PoE's gritty/dark theme compared to D3's cartoonish aesthetics. To each their own, I guess.

Anyway, the game will be in Open Beta and free to play (full game content and no P2W) January 23rd, and I highly recommend you guys to at least try it out for a day or two - especially if you're an ARPG fan or just bored with/frustrated with D3. For a game with a Dev team of only 20 people, this game is easily worth $60.00 and they're giving you access to all the available content in the game for free with hopes to fund development with microtransactions (cosmetic items that provide no advantage to gameplay).
