As for data, I did one careful trial with the following results (only recorded the rough numbers, sorry):

14 million experience over a 23 minute run ~= 36.5 million experience per hour

Since then I haven't watched the clock but especially thorough runs get close to 20 mil and some are a bit faster or slower (unlucky deaths in the middle of dungeons, etc).

There's the first problem haha.

Yeah barbs are super imba. Movement speed is king, even if everything else were less effective zooming around at 98% movespeed most of the time is just freaking unfair.

Barbs are the sorcs of d2, whatever you do on another class you just won't cover the same ground.

Yeah, it's pretty imbalanced at the moment. It's like trying to do a Baal run with a Sorceress or a Barbarian. One just doesn't work out like the other

hows cains gear hold up in crypt? my barb is budget build, can do decent in a2 but wrecked in a3, prob get wrecked with cains gear on but the xp is so much to not attempt it

I did this run along an hour, with star ruby in helm, and cain´s set, with a archon wizard (teleport) with +-40K DPS 190MF (without 15 nepha) and i got only 12-14M xp, but i got a lot of items, 5-8 63ilvl wep and armors, 5-10 62ilvl, and a lot of 61ilvls

How do you get +-30M?? :SS

I use the 3 piece, and I take like no damage. It's not a big problem.

I think you have your math wrong.. I get about 8k a kill.. around 300k a run.

How fast are your runs? It sounds like you're running very slowly since I have the same setup and get 25+.

Another questions.

- Do you go to the elite first every time? (sometimes a little bit of time lost)

- Do you pick all yelow items?

- Do you pick all gold? (that´s more obv that not)

Your runs are significantly longer than mine (in the long run).
I run about 30 second runs, then take 10 seconds to portal, leave, and resume game.

As for your questions:
1) I do not go to the elite every time due to the fact that it can spawn in the far back, or on the lower level
2) I only pickup the items that are ilvl 61+ (60-62 for rings/amulets/class items that max at 62)
3) I try to run over the bigger stacks, but don't fret too much over it (I make sure to get the 1k+ stacks)
