I think you are way off. I highly doubt he has 8 of these bows.. If he did you think he'd blatantly post them on the AH as an obvious way to be caught? It's MUCH more likely to be some glitch within the AH. I'm wondering whether people would actually be able to purchase more than 1 or once 1 is gone they would all disappear from AH?

he was lucky and got a good bow of a unique merchant which sell yellows.

you can purchase the rare item as often as you wish.

shouldnt be this way tbh

when you buy yellows from a wandering merch they disapear from his tab -_- and besides i've never seen 1 sell a ilvl63 item.

wrong.

You can only buy ONE of the item and that goes for anyone in the game. I can't believe no one knows that and keeps thinking rare merchants are how it's done..
