Only if they get extremely lucky with the timing and literally close the window the exact moment the other person clicks to change spaces. You can easily counter this by picking it up and not putting it down for ~3-5 seconds.

Thats not the point, switch places in trade inventory is one of the oldests scams no one sane would do it. Blizz needs to fix their trading window, you can make autoit script in 5 sec to remove few zeros on gold and click accept again, very very hard to notice, so easy to scam if you are a scumbag

Its true the d3 devs are fucking retarded for making the exact same mistakes that the d2 devs did, but still the point is you can counter a lot of the scams…so dont say "thats not the point" because it IS the point haha.

No sane person would swap places in trade window, thats like 101 of scamming. Just use ah till they fix things, there are like 3 scams going around which are so easy to do, only thing required is being a bastard to steal from others
