I've seen EVERY DH guide say Back-up plan for Preperation, but I prefer to have the Regain health rune with it, could you explain a strategy with Prep (back-up plan) to stay alive?  I can never seem to heal fast enough if I have mobs on my ass with back-up plan.

cuz ur dh isnt well built enough

also you use gloom to heal.

and back 1/3 chance for instant recast is amazing

What are people's thoughts on rapid fire with withering fire rune? A constant stream of 155% weapon damage is pretty nice for single way damage.

1) no pierce
2) no movement (locked in place)
3) no AoE

Congrats on sticky. I just tried evasive fire (with 3 shots). I think we may have a winner. Backflip proc isn't really a problem if you use nats. One downside is that the range isn't too great.

edit: as hatred generator of course.

This + NT is quite effective in act 3

Range is across the screen... That build's biggest downfall is:
1) if you replace devouring, you lose tons of single target dps
2) if you replace your right click hate spender, you lose the pierce of skills like NT or ball lightning or cluster bomb

single target dps as right click. NT + cluster are both good right clicks for this build.

125% damage on a single target aint too bad either. 3x 125% damage while generating hatred seems pretty good.

I'm confused how "Bat" and "Preparation an be two different skills simultaneously. They're both under hunting. and I'm not sure how I can have 2 hunting skills as different numbers.

Elective Mode.

If you guys want the "new" post-nerf NT, use Cluster Arrow with Cluster Bombs.
