You aren't getting hacked because your PC is unsafe. You are getting hacked because Blizzard is failing at security. I formatted my computer just before d3, the only thing I have on it is d3, itunes and skype. The only websites I visit are this one, a car forum, facebook, twitter, and b.net. I have an authenticator and always have. I got hacked today after not playing the weekend.

Prolly some asian with a secret exploit. LOL



Dont know anything about this but read a little and it sounds legit. I would try the battlenet pc auth first tho

You are an idiot. Its a man in the middle attack. They are using blizzards inability to be secure to get your information before relaying it to the server.

Also, don't leave so called "fan websites" open when you're logging onto D3. Especially the ones ppl keep spamming like "look at this guide on a chest farm spot".

I feel the need to point out that neither of you can make a legitimate claim about this whole d3-account-hacking situation as none of you have empirical evidence to support either side of the argument. Just logical fallacies being spewed back and forth.

I mean, I agree that he is somewhat of an idiot, in the capacity that he is seriously misinformed and suffers from an inflated ego, thus unknowingly (or perhaps the opposite) spreads disinformation.
