it doesnt matter. They completely bypass using the login screen. Correct me if im wrong but even if your "hacked" by these means they dont know your password?

Hell no. However, an authenticator may not prevent the current problem because some people claim to have been affected despite an authenticator. Blizzard has already stated having an authenticator is safer than not having one. Believe blizzard or believe forum trolls, your call.

in the bnet link it explains it. the "hacker" is able to get your "session id" info from a game that you're in, then duplicates that session. i guess what the result of that is the ability to log into your account with no necessary info.
