My monk has about 10k DPS and 45k health unbuffed, skills I run are
Left Click:
Way of the Hundred Fists - Runed with Blazing Fists
Right Click:
Crippling Wave - Runed with Breaking Wave
Q (1):
Breath of Heaven - Runed with Blazing Wrath
W(2):
Sweeping Wind - Runed with Cyclone
E(3):
Mystic Ally - Runed with Earth Ally
R(4):
Mantra of Healing - Runed with Boon of Protection
Passives:
One with Everything
Combination Strike
Seize the Initiative
With combo strike and Way / Crippling wave I do solid damage as well as some AoE damage. Way of the Hundred Fists stacks bonus attack speed and move speed for crits. So attack 1 and 2 is Way of the Hundred Fists and attack 3 is Crippling wave, for the 10% bonus damage from all attacks. (Repeat this process for spirit generation). My spirit dump is my mantra of healing. The rune for a 15% hp shield that lasts for 2 seconds is extremely strong and typically on bosses and other 'painful' mobs you can see their attacks coming. This also allows you to ignore the existence of arcane orbs (assuming you have a decent resistance). While it lacks the potential invulnerability of Serenity it is spamable and usable with every 50 spirit you get. Since you're focusing on Crit for Way of the Hundred Fists' Blazing Fists rune, Sweeping Winds choice is obvious, bonus damage, and more area damage is always a good thing.
I'm open to suggestions for this build, but it's really strong and i've yet to find anything I can't solo atm, though I'm only part way through A3 inferno.
