i would like the exact oposite. I would not like this to be like wow where you HAVE to depend on others to get the items you need.

I get what you mean. I raided in WoW.. everyone had to be near perfect or you didn't get far or didn't see the content/get loot.

Blizz has placed great emphasis on it being a co-op game. I am certain you can solo everything, but it probably will not be easy. There probably will not be a " Hamma/Smite Paladin" again where you can mindlessly run around and solo everything and kill it in record time.

You get your own loot to yourself... I think I will co-op more than solo, especially if I get a guild where I can share items I can't use and such. Co-op will just be easier, that's all... Probably.

I dont like the raid idea, where gaming becomes a job instead of fun, and you have to perform or be kicked.
I dont mind co op tho, we did this in d2 also. And now you are guarantied items with the new drop system.

Yeah, it won't be a raid thing. The Diablo community is a whole different crowd to WoW.

things that made D2 bosses easy was also the use of townportal. There will be no such thing as Townportals in D3 so you will have to fight against the boss till either you or the boss dies, which i believe is way better. Though i know that hammerdin or alot of char in d2 didn´t have to use TP, but let's hope the chars will be alot weaker in D3 or at least make the bosses more powerfull with more abilities or something like that.
