All 3 games (Diablo 2, WoW, and Diablo 3) are all made by the same company (Blizzard Entertainment .. duh) so OF COURSE there are going to be some similarities .. Blizzard isn't creative enough to branch out from everything they know.
Plus, with almost 12 million subscribers they must be doing something right.. so why change it completely?

Also, WoW has a lot of similarities with Diablo 2, so go cry about how WoW is like D2.
Personally, I can't wait for D3 .. its going to kick ass and destroy D2's old records.

Plus, if you did any actual research you would know there are runes but they affect skills rather than items. That also means no more runeword items. Personally, d3 should have no problem beating d2 considering how piss poor d2 was.

played the beta version a little bit no thank you its too easy to kill shit on there and the fact that they took away the dark setting that diablo 1 and diablo 2 had. Yes it will crush D2 records when it comes out just due to the anticipation of waiting for such a long time for it to come out. so gg to blizzard for marketing strategy cause they could have made d3 a while ago and left its setting and shit like d2.

WoW got alot of ideas from d2, the skill tree is from d2, just improved. Also it won't be anything like the play style that WoW is so quit making this shit.

I don't like the color theme. They should keep it dark and ancient like D2... Reminds me of WOW... A big plus for me is that they aint cheap with the blood and gore... And monsters die in uniq ways so corpses doesn't look the same.
