Oh, for Act1, you don't really need Bears since no mobs really do big dmg from ranged. Act1 Farming is really easy to be honest. That's why people can easily farm it when geared up a little.

But for other Act, there are some nasty elites that are fast and ranged. Bats is really bad for these type of mobs. You can channel firebat forever if you are NOT forced to move. But when you are forced to constantly move around, firebat fking sucks. You will be OOM for most of the times.

THis is where ZBear comes in. You can play like traditional ZBear WD for those type of elites.

But yeah, for act1 farming, no you don't need ZB.

i was thinking about how much a similar set up would cost. End game would be a zuni OH with 9+cc, -10+zbears, 250+int, 80+vit (yeah right.), freeing up the helm slot for maybe even more mana regen (visage+cc?), allowing you to maybe add a couple more slots of ias for more sheet dps. But whatever.

Most people do it so they can have a better life steal skill with mobility

i use bats and bears because
-knockback/nightmarish elite/mobs
-only bats is fucking boring
-bears better on weeping hollow, it takes like ages until those slow moving monsters going into your bats range, bears great aoe when move-cast-move-cast to make them hit alot mobs
-badass look/sound when stuff gets destroyed by bears

the only time i dont use bears is Warriors Rest and CotA Essence Runs/A1

Running CoB build with ZB right now, is 14 pickup enough? (I know this has been asked before)

Got 3 items with it now, so I got 21 pickup, but planning to ditch it on bracers to get other stats - will it still work?
