Yah, I'm not sure I understand why the prices fluctuate like that... I know people use gems to cash out and cash in though. Flipping them is also popular for when there's a big difference between the gold/gem to USD/gem ratio. It's mostly because big gems consistently sell, so it's almost like a currency... as for why gold/gem prices plummet so suddenly and then pop back up, I really don't know... Maybe it's just the market trying to reach a supply/demand equilibrium... but it fluctuates like 50%!

i am thinking of losing some res for armor

i can change my inna helm + pant from res to +armor

changed armor - 5551+ 600+/-
changed res = 770

its without enchantress but with seize

the latter, because it's closer to the 10 armor to 1 res optimum ratio... especially after the patch (only 50% of dex to armor from seize). Although if you need to spend money to change it, i'd rather save that money for an item that will add armor without losing res... 1.05 is supposed to be easier if you're not going for mp10

Hehe yeah actually now I noticed what this sweeping wind buffing does when playing with few totally random items.. In example i borrowed a ring from my Enchantress, nice 150 intelligence and 18% mf and so on, shoulders have 146 str, 20% mf and 6 pickup radius

It's hard to find an armor roll that matches a res roll, is the big thing. With res you can see +50 on a slot for Innas, but I've never seen more than 350 armor which equates to only 35 res@ making it a weaker choice. I don't know the diminishing returns off the top of my head, but we know for sure since your armor is lower than your res, armor will net you more %dr, but the question is how MUCH more effective is armor than res at that discrepancy? I'd say probably only slightly. If you have 50 res pants, and youre swapping them for 300 armor, definitely not worth it. But if your +armor is 1:10 with the -res, only slightly less, or ESPECIALLY more (youre saying 6:50 about?), then the armor will be better (plus +% armor buffs like enchantress make it worth more).

UGH I wish I coudl afford to just SWAP a slot, like "oh i don't really need the extra 20k DPS from this, I could really use some pickup radius"
