your mainhand weapon is actually pretty good. just leave it and get a offhand weapon with stats/open socket for crit dmg.

get stats with crit chance on your ammy.

and upgrade your armors with more dex with similar vital/res.

your dex is low that's why your dmg is just meh meh.

Your dps is pretty low to think about depending on LS, so for now I'd look at getting a high loh offhand if you want to DW. There's nothing wrong with using a shield too.

Ive been experimenting with a new build that i have not yet seen around here anywhere.
it takes advantage of the legendary fist hand Won Khim Lau which provides massive light dmg %

Deadly reach with scattered blow is used as main attack with cyclones to support it. with boh - blazin wrath for 15% extra dmg and overawe

take a look

OK .... this might be a noob question. I apologize in advance. Anyways, people learn new things everyday, right ?
I was reading in this thread yesterday and someone mention Blind, Overawe, cyclones (maybe not in that order).

When I jump into a set of mobs, I alway activate my sweeping wind first, then Overawe then blind if needed.
So, today I tried Blind first, then Overawe, then cyclones. Wow... what a difference.
My sustain damage output seemed to be higher and last very long time ... until I lose the cycones.

I am guessing the additional dmg from Blind & Overawe made the difference.
But I always though the extra dmg would only last 3 seconds.

Anyways, or maybe I was delusional.
Has anyone else noticed the difference in sustain dmg output when activating (cyclones, blind, overawe) in different orders ?

Overawe you can activate then sweeping winds and then blind when you are against an elite pack if need be

I usually don't use blind until needed.
But blind, overawe, cyclones seems to pack a bigger punch then what I use to do.
Bug... maybe.
