Hi Guys, I'm kind of new in the "monk scene"

I just wanted to know what a good Monk build is nowadays.
Something where i can tank alot, never die, and deal tons of damage.

What about Nat boots and rings, Innas head+armor+belt+pants as a start ?

And why do all the monks only have like 800 Vitality ?! Don't you die immediatly ??

And how many res and how many armor should i have? Unbuffed !

But like right now I can do everything very easily.

ur right ring is an obvious spot to upgrade to get some res on it but really u should find a pair of bracers with double res on it. try to get at least 100res on it and also ur chest piece could use more res

Check AH everyday for it! I checked literally every 12 hours for the past 2-3 weeks I think. haha

I think I'm done for this patch. No more upgrading. Currently have like 300mil gold saved up. I'm gonna save up more!

Sup guys, wondering if anyone has any thoughts from the ptr. My monk is 830ish ar, 35k hp, 70k unbuff dps as dual wield. Was having some problems in act 3 after about monster lvl 7. Anyone having any success with a shield in higher than monster lvl 7 games? Sitting here coming to the realization that out 30k hp is plenty since everything melts so fast is gonna dissapear to be able to do higher monster lvl games...

What's the problem during the fights? Not killing fast enough? Getting hit like trucks? Real curious because I've never played in ptr.

I have 2.9% LS & 600 LoH and 65K dmg, 720 all res, 6700 armour(dropped to 5500 in PTR), 40K health, 26% crit, 274 crit dmg, 800+ life regen, dual wield All unbuffed.
In regular inferno A3, I can facetanked Ghom / Azmodan with one serenity, kill elite packs in under 15 secs.
I can crit over 220K dmg with +29 asi on helm, ammy, bracer, ring
Mace is at 2.32 as
Fist is at 2.03 as

I tried PTR mlvl 5 yesterday, trash mobs are easy, but elites packs took me 2 - 3 times longer.
I'll try mlvl 7 and see how it goes.

BTW, please help me increase damage output
I know if I get better weapons, it will increase.
But 2 x 1100+dps weapons with, dex, LS, high natural crit dmg and socket will run me huge gold (1 Billion)

I use STI, OWE and Fleetfoot (gets me out of trouble and vortex).
Sometimes I use Resolve or Guardians Path.
I need to get 12ms more (thinking Compass rose ring)before I can change my 3rd passive.
Can't get Tyreals or Lacuni's .... I will lose too much res and health.

The day after I bought the Ice Climber...... Nat's boots just dropped. WTF
