Blizzard currently has 12 MILLION subscribed WoW players, that alone generates $180 million PER MONTH. If they did make it Pay to Play, I'd hope for it to be like $5 per month. I really hope it's not $15 per month, that's a bit much. And a game can be both successful and f2p. Look at Starcraft and Warcraft III. Neither is stocked with hacks, just not updated as frequently as WoW

Ok, new question. Would 5$-10$ range change anyones mind about P2P? (Compared to 15$ a month which what most P2P games cost per month) Then again that lower amount not even make as much of a difference as you would need idk.

The problem I have with it, is that it's unnecessary.
I honestly don't see a chance that the Diablo team will update D3 that often.
More often than D2, but still not that often, and expansions are going to happen anyway.

Your asking about putting pay to play monthly on a game that will be vary small compared to other P2P games and are nothing like MMO's. Also there will be a single player mode so the monthly fee would just to play on Battle.net which is kinda silly. I dont see the logic behind making Diablo3 a P2P game.

15 makes you pay 180$ a year, 10 makes you pay 120$ a year... 5 makes you pay 60$ a year...
some people have played games from when they first came out,

Either a trust fund baby, or you're just flat out lying. Help could also be the form of having somewhere to live while you accumulate this wealth. Having 2 jobs that pay well enough to pay off a house completely at 22 is so completely unrealistic, did you expect instant belief? What kind of jobs are these? Where can I find one? How old are you, really? =)
