I've been using tempest rush for about a week now, and it's quite nice to cut down travel time (which is a LARGE chunk of farming), but without spirit regen from gear it kind of sucks to be spirit starved all the time. I've run with circular breathing and Chant of Resonance for 5 sp/s but it doesn't really help too much. I'm still going back and forth about it because I don't really have the gear to support it. With an SoJ, sp/s inna's helm and a gg sp/s claw I bet it would be awesome but for now...I love/hate it

Keep using Tempest Rush it takes some time to learn to use it effectively, but its awesome for solo speed farming. When I first swapped it in for blind, I was dieing alot more and having trouble keeping SW up- but with experience you learn how to manage your spirit more effectively and how to use tempest rush defensively for positioning/ escaping CC(which it is very effective for). I tried to boost spirit with quickening rune, chant of resonance, exalted soul but none were as effective as cookie cutter build.

Tempest rush is pretty much just for manuevering, the damage on it is negligible.

Just found myself a new Witching Hour belt. Sold almost all the gear i had and rebuilding now. This time going to make it 300k dps unbuffed, 700+ resistances without OwE and 45k+ life

This is true, I can't count how many times TR saved my life just from the positioning. It's another reason WW barbs are SO EASY to use - no collision and mobility. You dropped all the spirit/s talents too though? I've seen some GG monks making it work but I'm not at that level yet.

I have been keeping blind, though, and playing with foresight/combo strike as well in place of blind. Still messing with stuff.

Anyone has 100% certain knowledge about the 1.0.5 and ilvl 63 rolls on items ?

I mean, i would die to know if it's true or not, that even Echoing Fury can spawn with ilvl 63 rolls, meaning that it can have up to 100% critical in base ?
