~46k damage with 261% crit damage.. is it worth buying items with % dmg to poison dart?

I feel like I must be doing something wrong?

I'm going for a gf/mf build with the fastest possible attack speed (is this a retarded idea?)

IMO, I thought I had been doing a good job, and I work with a monk (we're in A2 inferno so far)

I have about 1100 int, and 1000 vit --> 37k life to "tank"

I do about 16.5k dmg (after pierce the veil) ... otherwise It's like 13.5K or so.

I was trying to kill shit with splinters, unrelenting grasp (WoZ), unbreakable grasp, Spirit Walk, hedge magic, and horrify (mana) ... in the end, it was taking too long, or it was too difficult. Vortexing/chains/prisoners/illusionists/mortars all seem horrible, and take forever to kill, and dying is a minimum most of the time. Repairs are expensive

btw, Mf is about 200, and gold find @ 100 ... and attacks per second are at 2.26 ... My gear (imo) is GOOD, but not GODLY. I use a shield (bad idea?) - I like the idea of blocking a couple times, instead of mojoing and being more pront to a 2-3 hit deaths or whatever when I get swarmed.
My resistances are pretty bad (around low-mid 200s) ...

and im using an 800 dmg weapon ... Idk how to "fix" this.

I should also mention, unbreakable grasp just seems to NOT work sometimes, aka doesn't slow anything down. Is this an inferno thing? It seems like the elite packs don't get hampered in the least, and WoZ is good for blockading with slow, but sometimes they don't seem as good as they were in previous difficulties. The idea to change both came to me, and I never thought I would. But it seems like a "win" more skill,

Can't use soul harvest, I don't want to get near shit. Bears glitch about half the time, and using DoT shit may take even longer than they do now - if the mobs have teleport or vortex, or are fast, it's going to be a blood bath.

If I use the mojo I have, the damage goes up to almost 19k ... and I don't critical for shit, btw.

hey all, just about to hit 60 on my wd and would like some pointers before i hit inferno
tell me how my build would do in terms of surviving inferno

1-spirit walk (jaunt)
2-harvest (siphon)
3-horrify (stalker)
4-fetishes (devoted following)
L-darts (splinters)
R-grasp (unbreakable)

w/ jungle fortitude, pierce the veil, bad medicine passives

also, shield or mojo for offhand? i want to have nice dps... i don't mind kiting shit as long as it dies haha. suggestions? thanks!

I hadn't done a tank build myself but from what I've been reading around a good WD tank build uses Rain of Toads with high LoH, with this build you would be using a shield instead of a mojo. If you go for this option then your damage sounds good but you need more "all resists", 600+ I believe.... Remember you need as much LoH as you can afford.

Which specs are people using after 1.0.3 to go through A3 and A4.

Currently my stats are: 35k hp, 29k DPS, 420 @res. Can't figure out which specs are viable for late inferno. I started after 1.0.3 with continuing the DPS glass cannon playstyle from before the update, and considering switching back to such a spec. What are people succesful with?

I believe the only viable build atm is the tank build. I have 30k hp and 35k dps, 550+ ar, and still have a ton of trouble in a2/3. My build isn't a tank build.

Allright. Well i certainly want a build where i got a chance to kill rakanoth/diablo and such. But arent the Tank build extremely expensive to get working? Atm i could get about 10-15 mio gold if i sold all my stuff. So Not more than 1-1,5 mio pr item. Doubt thats gonna be enough for a proper tank build.
