I just cringe when I see my resists go below 800 and my health drop below 40k. just got an echoing fury which puts me a tad over 60k unbuffed but now I have 37k Life. I want to p[ick up that innas combo but I dont know how im going to compensate for resists and even life lost. Thats why I cant find a good vile ward with vitality. Any suggestions

Don't know what to say there. :)

It all depends on your playstyle. If you think you need to stay above 800 res and 40k life, you should definitely go for it!

I personally have been running with +70k dmg / +35k life / 670 res for couple weeks and I have no regrets whatsoever!

Now I'm just waiting for the patch to hit while saving my gold as much as possible. Don't know how my monk will do in higher monster level games.

Now im at 645 resists when i switched to innas, I have 38k life but brought my dmg up to 72k unbuffed. Any ideas on how to make up the resists? http://us.battle.net/d3/en/profile/smileandwave-1893/hero/6255186

I would recommend playing couple runs with the current set up. Let us know how it feels.

runs go a bit smoother to be honest because of the increased damage. Yet id like to up my resists a bit maybe to the 700 almost 800 again. I heal a bit faster since I changed to echoing fury with teh attack speed. Just need a tad more resists I think.

In that case, your belt and shoulder can be replaced. It's going to be costly, but it seems like you are loaded! haha

Good rares are fine but the Vile Ward looks freaking awesome on the characters. good luck!

One question to you. Did the Echoing Fury just add +.22 attack speed on your sheet? Really want to know how that exactly work.

If we go dual wield, we gain 15% ias just by doing that, right? so, the Echoing Fury just add .22 attack speed flat on the increased attack speed?

Does that even make sense? LOL sorry

Inna's pants imo is a terrible option for monk, you lose too much dex/vit/res. The drop of defensive stats from rare to inna's belt is more efficient in the sense of finding a balance. Seeing as you only have 60 res on your belt. Your bracer needs replacing, since rares are so cheap nowadays find one with similar stats but at least 5% crit chance. 1% critchance is about 1k dps. None of your gear has crit hit dmg, why stack crit chance?

Lifesteal when you're past 60k dps.

It adds it to both weapons, so what you see on the fury is how fast it will attack and add the attack speed bonus to your other weapon as well.

The Inna's Pants is like heaven for all monks. It not only gives you a huge chunk of dmg but also give you the 12% ms of mobility. Monks live through fast movement speed and fast attacks. The pants itself solves everything. You make up the other stats on other parts. And this is why 90% of the top monks on the server is using the said combo. I would have gone for that combo as well, but I just liked the look of Inna's Chest. lol

You can obviously go for the rare pants with crit chance Lacunis which would cost you an arm and a leg. So, it's much better to go with helm / pants combo with high crit chance with stats bracer.

And really, monks don't need much loh/ll/res/armor ONLY if you have good enough dmg.

But yeah, it's all up to playstyle I guess. Not mocking your opinion. :D

I think when a few of my auctions sell I should be able to get my resists up a bit I think anywhere in the 700+ range with 80k+ unbuffed dmg isnt too bad. would yolu agree? I originally had about 400% crit chance now I have 250 and im killing much quicker. Yes in teh future I'd like to get some on my gloves when I replace those and my jewelry. Also when I upgrade one of my weapons itl have base crit and open socet. Just wanted to get my innas first

any suggestions on how I could gte my 645 resists up to the 750-800 range? cant find any bracers that are even comparable to mine. I was thinking of getting a vile ward but I dont want to drop my life any more. My next upgrade is going to be a nice mainhand with cd/os/dex and either ll or loh. Need some suggestions. What would you guys do?
