havent been keeping up with the latest builds and gears and what not, what's the best weapon choice for a wd nowadays? 1-hander + mojo or skorn? is lifesteal needed?

Im going to tell you what i tell everyone. If you already have a budget wd then buy both budget setups 1h and 2h

If you don't like one of the two as much as the other (extremely likely) you should just go with the one that fits you as they are close.

If you already have a lot invested into a certain setup, get a budget skorn or 1h/mojo setup and test it the same way, but with higher end gear, same as above.


You ultimately need to make a decision from actually playing with them before buying a expensive setup and now liking it.

This is the best advice you can get on choosing a weapon setup.

I personally used 1hand + mojo from parargon 1 - 86. I switched to a decent LS Skorn for paragon 86-90 and find I like it much more. The two reasons I like the LS Skorn better are #1 I can handle reflect dmg packs no problem now. My 1 hander had LS but it just wasn't enough. #2 I almost NEVER run out of mana and don't have to rely as much on mana regen passives.

I keep the mojo + 1hand in the stash though just in case, because it is likely there will be a time I will switch back and forth.

Fortunate, you can literally get decent 2h and 1h/mojo set up under 10mil.
