I've seen those crazy dps shield monks...haha. I really like dual wielding though. Plus you have so much more spirit gen cuz higher aps, more cyclones, etc etc...so effective dps is much higher too. Anyways, at this point I'm good at like 600 LoH. So 1200 regen is kind of a lot to fill those shoes.

I'll definitely look at a Skorn. I want to get Innas cuz they are boss but just the pants alone are about all the gold I have...

Don't listen to that 80k dps serenity killing thing, it's not true. I'm now at 212k dps unbuffed and well, even now I can't kill everything during serenity. Tested some random shield and 185k dps with shield, it's a lot easier with it, but also a lot slower than dualwielding, attack speed drops so much, but 60% critical chance ain't that bad :=)

And a good tip for you, do not go and buy Skorn, or any other slow 2 handed weapon. You will just waste your money. It blows 110%. You just can't use slow weapons on monk, you would need to get 5+ spirit regen from somewhere to use it and still it would not be fun, because it's just so ugly slow. I have tested it and sold it immediately. With my items it had ~1.65 attacks per second and it's totally unplayable.

I've heard great things about tempest rush skorn, but I can't speak from experience. Obviously you would be using quickening here...

As for killin within serenity, I should have said cool downs... Are you telling me that at 200k, you need to kite?

No, why on earth would i kite as i have 820 all resistances too ?

Speaking of Skorn Monks, i just bought me a cheap Skorn today and tried a build i made in like 3 minutes.

It works much better than i would have hoped for, and i didn't have a single death in Arreats core level 1. It takes a bit more timing, and not so much zerking, but it's very fun to play.

So far, what i seem to lack is:
- Attack speed
- Run speed
- Obvious gear improvements (my gear is very low budget... perhaps around 10m)

Spirit regen with the build i use is totally cool. It didn't seem to be as big of a problem as i would have thought.

The more DPS i get, the less i need to focus on spirit regen on all my runes.

Tell me what you think. Any fun idea's i should try out? Would be happy to post about the changes here so we can get some decent 2H discussions going

This is my current build, and it seems to work extremely well in all situations. I seem to have found a quite solid balance between dps, life, res and armor, but am certainly open to critque. I feel that I am still lacking runwalk, though I am unsure how "necessarry" runwalk will truly be for a thunderclap/teleport (seven sided with sudden assault) based build in PvP; and ias. I am currently at 1.75 aps, and it seems to only make a noticable difference in speed at around 2.0 >. Also, I have dumped all my LOH, LS and Regen (most of it that is) as I feel that none of the three will have a significant effect on PvP. That being said, I would assume that of the 3 Regen would be the most beneficial to have, as it would, again in my opinion, need the less balancing for PvP and thus retain more potencey than LOH and LS. Please let me know what u guys think of my build, and feel free to comment on what you think I could be doing better.
