Imo barb still remains king of warriors rest. CC immunity, just charge with +fury rune, eq, berserk, 5x hota, rinse and repeat. Way more effortless and consistent than wd.

Then post that in the Barb thread.

Not really, I can do runs just as fast as barbs and dying is never a problem either since the run is insanely easy, so there is really no real difference in speed.

If the barb is built correctly with all the right WR gear, they are slightly faster kill wise, but the kill isn't the majority of this runs speed, it's just the leaving entering/walking.

Well testing in probably over 10k+ runs at this point with a barb an wd both with bis for WR runs, and the times are of 1 second difference.

However when you add a cm wiz tele into the mix you gain 2-3 seconds, as long as they do good dmg, and keep bubble up.

The threshold time from hitting resume, to hitting resume again is about 34 seconds. This is a 4 second elite kill and instantly teleports.

The fastest possible way to do the run is.

CM tele's, barb/monk/wd banner and kill
Either monk or wd leaves game since they both are good at dodging (monk has high dodge and wd has vessel) so you can negate any failed tp attempts as much as possible.

Very well tested :)

Going to be playing today since school is going well and this final project is easy as the dickens. Was going to be playing with friends (monk and who knows) checking out new densities and running acts 1, 4, etc for fun. I'm wondering if fire bats would be beneficial to work into the build. I figured it won't be if I was solo and running through dealing with a bunch of enemies that ran away. However, since it's going to be mp 5+ and with friends, I feel it might be good for getting some nice damage output while friends tank.
Any info/build suggestions from those who tested firebats, plz lmk :D

Just one of my skill set ups.. I like switching around to keep things fun.

I just need 2 more plvl to hit 100 on my monk.

After that, it's all WD!

Zbear/Firebat!

Will be great if someone can make a Zbear/Firebat WD guide or something.

wont Bats replace bears?

Firebats
Now has a larger initial cost but a much lower continual cost while channeling
Base weapon damage increased from 180% to 385%
Skill Rune – Cloud of Bats
Initial damage increased from 234% to 500% weapon damage
Skill Rune – Plague Bats
Maximum damage increased from 270% to 578% weapon damage

As far as I know, it's better to have both on the tab to deal with different situation.

Firebat is channeling skill so it won't be viable for a lot of those fast gay shits

I meant solo. With wd you can get hit by cc, with barb ur immune. Kill speed is about same.
Also I find that earthquake has better range, so often clears whole room, you can tp without running, and save few seconds on that as well.

I think it is the same as with bears.. just bears + cob, cob in slot of "free' skill. Unless if you play co-op, and you dont need bears for trash (because you skip it), and ranged elites (because they get frozen), them cob+support, you can take locust for healing, or some utility, grasp, hex, horrify armor. Some say hex cancels frost nova damage bonus, so not sure if it is good idea though, grasp is also useless if shit is perma frozen. Armor bonus is nice vs reflect, you can own youself to reflect quite easily even with ls skorn, if you are below healing point in mitigation, which requires around 4k armor and 900 physical resistance.
If you play pure cob for co-op, then you can drop some mana skills, are bats are cheaper than bears, you can get away with jaunt instead of mana rune for spirit walk, and get spirit vessel. Maximizing uptime of spirit walk helps, because this is your cc immunity, and cc is main enemy of cloud of bats (interrupts you).
Some may use pierce the veil for more dps, doable with skorn.

Perfect.

That sounds fun. Can't wait to try it out after work today. Thanks.
