Melee gets 30% damage reduction because they will have to take damage most of the time being in melee.
Any DH doing MP10 feels the same way? Or are you able to kite yet kill those packs within 10 seconds.
well i cant. I am face tanking and in melee 99% of the time. While i managed to keep gloom up all the time and AOE kill the mobs/elites fast.
I do not have high AR only about 350 and 58k hp. Nowadays i use perfectionist (about 380AR 60khp) in mp10
or custom engineering if i'm playing with sentries/traps. (together with compulsory nightstalker and archery)
Shadowpower: gloom is always needed, the 35% dmg reduction keeps me from getting 1 shotted.
Feels weird that when i rolled a ranged class i wanted to range kill mobs but now i'm basically a melee class.
Secondly, I have very high sheet dps but i do less effective dps vs my barb/monk team mates.
My solo highest consistent crits are range from 900-1.3mil with bola: imminent doom and spike traps. vs 1.7-2mil HOTAs.
Hence i hope DH class can be improved in future patches. Instead of asking for a straight buff to dps Something like getting hatred per crit will allow us to use our hatred spender more and will increase our effective dps more. Maybe increase the passive discipline regen rate.
