i don't get how dual wielding is better. I tried it and got crapped on instantly.

if yer gonna dual wield you need a proper build to give you 4-7 seconds of free dps then kite around and do it again till mobs die. doable in act1 and act2.. I just got to act3 so I'm not sure how i'll fair yet.. that's an adventure for tommorrow!

Though also my philosophy is, if i'm going to die, i'm going to die and a shield isn't going to stop that from happening.. I'd rather dish out as much damage as i can until that happens.

This isn't WoW. The game is not built to be played sword and board.. not with the amount of damage that is being dealt by mobs in inferno.

If you wear a sword and shield to a boss fight in particular, you will never progress. Maybe it helps for normal mobs? Definitely not elites.. I have zero issue with normal mobs as dual wield.

do you think monk is a "solofarmchar"?

i can easily run a1 inf without taking any dangerous dmg but guess its not worth farming..

dual wield is nice if you have 2 life on hit items, i have with dual wield 1.3k life on hit and its really nice
problem is that no weapon can give you 100allres and armor and block chance
