I forgot about the schaffer's hammer dmg buff.

So, was it working with our merc? Do we get like 20% of the dmg increase buff through merc?


I don't believe so, my understanding was always that from the merc you get.. 20% of Magic Find, Gold Find, and Experience stats. Nothing else. Was thinking about getting that monk fist for my offhand with the 10-20% lighting damage buff since I use fist of thunder with thunderclap but its hard to find one with a socket + one of the following: LOH / LS / Base crit and have high dps 850+.

Just bought one for 50k and tested it.

It doesn't work. OOPS. haha

Don't get those Won Lau Kim fist. It's way overpriced right now. :)

Hey guys. Currently trying to improve the dps of my monk. my unbuffed dmg below is about 1000 less without my enchantress.

Even checking the auction house I can't even find the same or comparable gear that I'm currently wearing. I'd also like to stay at 40k health. got about 45mil at the moment but my money fluctuates constantly more or less. Act 1 and two are a joke. I can clear act 3 with maybe a death or two if i'm not careful or do something stupid. Thanks!

Your mainhand looks good man.

Get a new offhand with base crit / dex / socket with high dps. That should skyrocket your dmg.

And you should get a inna's pants with helm if you can. Your pants is pretty meh.

No idea, man. Should be 304k by my calcs. Must be some crazy percentaged-based shit. I'd assume it has something to do with the dex +%dmg modifiers, since your base dmg is +2800%. Maybe that makes the skills scale more. You've got 213% more dmg with those buffs. I'm at 35k unbuffed and 58k with BW/blind up. So for me, it's a 165% gain.I have 1800 dex, so you've got 1,000% more dmg from dex than me, but randomly 50% more from buffs.

could be fun for a wave of light monk though.
