I have a barb at the 2.14 bp so that when i go into wrath, i skip over the 2.2 what ever BP and go straight to the 2.5 bp.

I find this incredibly annoying when im not in wrath because of the desparity between the 2 attack speeds.

in the same way getting only 2% would leave you at your current bp but let you skip up to 4 aps bp when you have blazing fists up, thus you might find the difference between when you have blazing fists up and when you dont such that youll want to go out and get the other 3% so you can hit the 3.75 bp with out blazing fists.

so yes you could get 2% attack speed and hit the 4.0 bp when you have blazing fists up, but you might find yourself still wanting to hit the 3.75 when you dotn have the blazing fists up.

I have blazing up 99% of the time so it's not really an issue... Kinda wanna hit the 4.0001 now

so your at like 59% ias+ 15% for dw?
3.654 for wkl
3.915 for dagger

= 3.78 aps

you could just get a dagger hitting the 3.75 bp with out blazing fists.

3.96 + 4.25 =8.21/2= 4.1 though with blazing fists youd still only be hitting the 4 aps bp.

I'm a bit confused by this

Doesn't blazing fists use one weapon to attack then the other? but people seem to be worried about the breakpoint of the average attack speed which isn't actually used in the game

Also as you said there is no incremental speed increase and the game averages it out over time
You won't be able to tell the difference of 1 frame ever so often at 60 per second, the whole thing about breakpoints is ridiculous in the first place, your attack speed doesn't suddenly become good at 3.75!

It's something that could have been ignored for d3 but people wanted to dig it back up for nostalgia i suppose

its more so in the consistency, while the game compensates, at the break points the frame rate is consistent. 55,51,48,45, ect

I could easily get 2% attack speed though

Only 8% on ring, 7% gloves, and 7% ammy

Non blazing fists is kinda negligible

and having a consistent frame rates is important because?

its not like you're there thinking, 18 frames per attack with my left weapon, 18, 18, 18, that one was 19! damn these inconsistent attack speeds!

meanwhile people are rubber-banding half way across the screen


not to mention the 3rd attack with fot takes way longer throwing things off further

if you are ocd enough to worry about the number on rawr wow then great but I don't think you can pretend its for a noticeable change to character

In diablo 2 I paid 1900 fg for a call to arms that was 100% perfect including ED...

Instead of 80 for a 6/6/4 3 hs
