if someone is willing to spend 110mil on a marquise by all means let them use it... it wont be a big game changer 1000 to 700 not a HUGE bonus for 110mil..
and they cant trade it so the people who do use them are serious..

+150 min/max dmg into ur wepaon would completely unscale everything,the fights are pretty well paced atm( unless your a chicken for an entire fight lol)

Yea even if we allowed for higher gems in tournaments or what not, that one would be out the window lol.

corpse spiders- caster doesnt have to be on the same screen+ they follow u so far, dont attack clones

Haunt- caster doesnt have to be on same screen, un-breakable dot

Fear- 4.5 second fear ( only cc breaker I have is serenity) where u can haunt and coprse spider a screen away

hex=untargatable, un ccable chicken for 4 seconds, than 3 seconds, than 2 seconds

and then even if u do manage to kill them, with pretty much either being feared or chickened 80-90% of the time, and being attacked from off screen
they get a free life, a spirit walk away and then can start there barrage again.

Again, it should be the same as d2 a perfect small charm could go to 1k fg each where as a plain 15 lifers would be like 5fg
200x the price for a huge increase! Exactly like the marquise.
I just don't see the difference again if someone feels that their lld is worth a 110mil upgrade that person should be allowed to use that gem!
