they're nerfing some wiz defensive skills for 1.05 :(

Another factor when making purchases is also future value. Some items depreciate faster than others

Crit chance allegiance was 150m the first week now it's 300m

So yeah

This. I see too many wizards packing shitty legendaries for no real reason. I assume they want them just for the sake of having what they see on the top wizards on diabloprogress.

Go big or go home tal rasha'd allegiance isnt very good without the crit chance

xD just sold a piece of shit 200int/50vit/65cd/6 cc tal allegiance for 250m.

HAHAHAHHA. finally, an item worth more than 40m in my 800+ hours played as wiz.

and to think, i was gonna sell it for 50m when i first got it. thank god i have friends to tell me to wait.

more like PEOPLE packing shitty legendaries

yeah, an "x" legendary may be best in slot, but LOL only if it rolls well. so many people castrating themselves just to have green/orange by their item slots. idiots.

it enrages me that people don't craft 62s anymore. they can roll so well.

btw, cc allegiances (i've been watching for a while) have been 150-300 this week. 150s get bought out instantly; 300s have to roll well.

protip: if you know you have a gg item, wait for similar items to sell out. there was some dude undercutting me, so instead of undercutting him, i overpriced mine. so his sold out immediately. i could then "control" the market, so to speak.

how the fuck do you get base 6k armor in the first place?

The benefit of these skills is greater at higher levels of Armor and Resistance, so let’s assume very high numbers of each. Suppose a wizard has 6000 Armor and 800 Resist before Prismatic Armor. Assuming a level 63 enemy:
In 1.0.4 this translates to 9900 Armor (75.86% mitigation) and 1120 Resist (78.05% mitigation) with Prismatic Armor, for a total mitigation of 94.70%
In 1.0.5 this will be 8100 Armor (72.00% mitigation) and 1000 Resist (76.05% mitigation) with Prismatic Armor, for a total mitigation of 93.29%
If a monster hits for 50,000 damage, then the damage taken by the wizard will go from 2650 damage to 3355 damage.
This means incoming damage would have to be less than 79% of the current value (2650 /3355) in order for it to feel the same after 1.0.5.

yer they are nerfing monsters and the skills on the baseline that every wizard has 6k armor undbuffed , dont know how blizzard is testing but i assume they use armor affix on each itemslot

the reality looks diffrent , most wizards have like 3-4 k armor unbuffed
