Guys, how is life% figured out. if my armor has 7%life is that my total life with buff, or like being naked, no gear on.

think its based off ur vit

Yeah I ended up selling my SOE for this very reason. It has too low str and vit. The DR and LoH is awesome, but it just doesn't justify the cost of using an SoE.



No idea but it's not a very good stat. Always get vit over life %. With 40k life, it takes something like 10% life to match 60 vit.

id like to know what res/armor/loh/damage/crit chance/crit damage people are having success with as far as act 3 farming goes on the double nado build

Just hit up 210k DPS record with my barb (using Battle Rage-Marauder's Rage + WotB), 85k with just Battle Rage activated, act 1-2 is like breeze, one shotting mobs and melting them down with just WotB+Frenzy combo.

Bit too glasscannon'ish barb, can't survive that well on Act 3 yet. Take a note this is 2H barbarian.

Stats with War Cry - Impunity and Battle Rage - Marauder's Rage;
51.50% crit chance / 270% crit dmg
DPS 85k (210k with WotB)
45k hp
All res ~600
Armor 6.8k

It's something like compared to kingkongors glasscannon barbie but i'm using 2H mace, not DW. I've been planning tho getting some nice ~1k dps one-handers for DW, it should increase my crit dmg up to 400-450%, increasing my dps and vitality.

What'dya think bout this setup so far?

clearly, I haven't made a barb :l

dps is pretty important now.. crit chance on gloves, helm, and bracers are essential, and damage on ammy/rings. if you can get crit chance AND damage on your stuff it's obviously better, but much more expensive

other than that, focus on getting str/vit/all res on your gear with phys/fire res and life% if possible

string of ears isn't that great anymore, ss is very overpriced and not worth it unless you get a really high block% one, and hoc is ok... but only if you need the survivability

if your gonna do the WoTB build, you need atleast 30k damage before WoTB can be effective ( point is to kill the elite pack or most of them while it's up )
i have 29k damage, and about 37k with berzerker rage, and WoTB will usually kill them all unless they have some crazy mods
